Istorie Timișoara

Începând din anul 553 teritoriul actual al Timișoarei a fost timp de două secole sub dominație avara. Aceștia au construit pe ruinele fostei fortărețe romane Zambara o nouă așezare cu numele de Beguey, poziționată strategic intre râurile Timiș si Bega (Tisa).

După avari teritoriul a fost invadat de pecenegi. Dar și de cumani, bulgari și valahi (români). La sfârșitul mileniul au urmat maghiarii. Fortăreața Timișoara a fost foarte probabil construita în sec. X, în stil avar, înconjurată de un canal cu apă, fiind situata pe locul actual al Operei.

Luna septembrie a adus cel mai mic declin de la începutul anului pentru lucrările de construcţii, de minus 1,8%.

Construcţiile de infrastructură au consemnat însă în continuare o scădere accentuată, înregistrând în prima lună de toamnă un minus de 14% faţă de aceeaşi lună a anului trecut.

În total, lucrările de construcţii inginereşti (sau de infrastructură) au înregistrat în primele trei trimestre un declin accentuat, de 28,3% faţă de aceeaşi perioadă a anului trecut, pe fondul unei reduceri a investiţiilor publice.

Astfel, cheltuielile cu investiţiile ale statului s-au ridicat în primele nouă luni ale anului la 16,5 miliarde de lei (3,8 miliarde de euro), în scădere cu 15% faţă de intervalul ianuarie-septembrie 2013, potrivit infor­maţi­ilor publicate de Ministerul Finanţelor.

Reducerea investiţiilor a venit în contextul în care guvernul a urmărit o politică de micşorare a deficitului bugetar, preferând să lase în aşteptare, printre alte, şi proiectele de infrastructură, fie ele de transport sau de mediu, care ar putea crea mii de locuri de muncă şi care, în aval, pot stimula şi alte industrii.
